Positive: This house was obviously not cleaned before we entered the main bedroom wasnt even made. Bathrooms toilets dirty. Dirty dishes. Someones hair all over the place and dirty underwear. I will also inform you that you have to clean fill and start the spa yourself, which takes approx 4 hours. Meanwhile you will have no hot water. Tassie is cold and not one heater in this house or no wood for the fire so be aware if you are not tasmanian you could freeze. I would advise if your going to pay this much for somewhere to stay keep looking there is nicer in Tasmania. The view was the only good thing. Even the reply from the host of sorry about our disapointing stay was not good enough. Negative: Dirty

Overall, the homestay was disappointing to us and the owners should take on the feedback provided. Positive: Home location was fantastic and the home was presented in a neat and tidy condition. Negative: Things that we had issues with: - No water available in the house from check-in time until approx. 10am the next day when the manager organised a water tanker. This should be checked before any guest arrival. - Home was marketed as having an outdoor Spa, however this was empty with cobwebs and dust inside it, so not instantly usable. Furthermore, there were no spa chemicals at the property and it is not feasibile to use the spa for a week without topping up with chemicals to maintain quality. - The Spa also breaches local safety requirements as it does not have an adequate security fencing around it. - There were no curtains in the main bedroom and some were missing in the other bedrooms. Rooms get really bright very early in summer. - Patchy paintwork around the house made it look unfinished. - There was ongoing construction work at the property that was not adequately fenced off and not advertised prior to booking. - No heating or cooling in any of the bedrooms. - No lid in the main dustbin (just a large bucket provided). - No recycling bin provided. - Not enough towels provided for the number of guests booked for. - Could use more cutlery in the kitchen, as well as a drying rack for dishes.
