StayAU Elegant Big House in Mullum Mullum Precinct

I would definitely not recommend this accommodation. Well over priced Positive: Located close to wedding venue we were attending Negative: We brought family down from Sydney to stay with us for a family wedding. We were quite embarrassed in the state of this house. The house was filthy and dusty. It does not accomodate 12 people as it stated- there were not 12 cups or glasses available to us. I glass in the cupboard was broken. No frying pan or enough kitchen dishes available. Heating did not heat the house- central heating did not work properly- we had to buy to portable heaters to heat house. Even after 2 days of heating on, it didn’t heat past 19 degrees. The Outdoor area was dirty, the indoor dining table was sticky and dirty. We provided feedback during and after our stay and did not get any compensation at all which I think is very poor and not my experience with other properties when things haven’t been as advertised.

Very disappointed Positive: There was a picture on the wall about house rules. These house rules were indicating the house is used for adult activities. If this is the case the house should NOT be available for hire outside of this. I rented this for my wedding and was horrified by seeing the sign. Negative: It was not clean out the back or on the balcony.

Just ok Positive: Number of bedrooms. Negative: Upstairs balcony needs a good clean. House was generally dusty. Most of the beds were ok but bottom bunk "mattress" was extremely thin and uncomfortable. Could use some maintenance, window winder not connected, power point hanging our, ensuite shower leaks large amounts of water and lounge room couch saggy.

Positive: Plenty of room, great location, great facilities. Negative: Needed more towels and extra bedding.
